General Program Info:

CCC is an afterschool for grades Kindergarten through 5th. The afterschool program runs until 6pm each day.  As of September 2011, Kindergarten children dismissed at 12:30 will arrive by school bus at Upper Falls, escorted by CCC staff. Children in grades K-5 who are dismissed at at 3:00 pm, walk from their classrooms to CCC if they are registered at the school site. Children registered at our Upper Falls site arrive by public school bus a bit later, according to the timeliness of the bus.

Upon arrival, children are given a snack.

CCC provides a very important homework time each day for children of all ages.

Children are required to do their homework at CCC unless they have a note from a parent stating otherwise.

Younger children, and children who do not have homework, enjoy free time and outdoor activities. Choices of daily classes  begin after homework time, usually around 4:00pm.  At the end of each day, teachers gather children together for literacy time.

We find it necessary and comforting to our students to follow a balance of scheduled of activities, as well as time for free play.

Kindergarten Program: Melissa Gavell is the Kindergarten Coordinator, along with "K" staff Jesse, Glenn, Kathleen, Joan.

Group B meets from 12:30-3:30pm Mondays and Wednesdays, and Group A meets Thursdays and Fridays, from 12:30-3:30pm.

All Kindergarteners dismissed at 12:30 travel by school bus, escorted by CCC staff, to our Upper Falls site. Upon arrival, children eat lunch.

CHILDREN MUST BRING LUNCH FROM HOME EACH DAY. The Kindergarten daily schedule includes rest time, free play, literacy, and group activities.

Monthly activity themes typically include: dinosaurs, rainforest, ocean, Earth's natural wonders, nutrition, space, and more!

Older Kid Program: Kathleen McDonough is the Older Kid Coordinator (4th & 5th grade). The older kids have their own space in the foyer.

Each month a new independence- based privilege is earned, based on responsibility and team work.

Billing Process: Tuition payments are made quarterly, as stated in family contracts. First payment is due September 1st.

If payment is late, a $25.00 Late Payment fee is automatically added to the invoice.

PAYMENTS REMAIN THE SAME EACH MONTH, regardless of the number of days in the month.
